Trim Levels of the 2022 Chevy Traverse

1. LS

Starting things off is the 2022 Traverse’s basic LS trim, which is filled to the brim with features that longtime Traverse owners have come to know and love. These features include driver assistance features such as automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-keep assist with lane departure warning, a following distance indicator, forward collision alert, and automatic high beams.


New to the Traverse and available on the LS trim is the Buckle to Drive feature, which requires the driver to fasten their seat belt to shift out of park, offering enhanced safety. The LS trim also features an infotainment system with a 7-inch color touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto.

2. LT

The 2022 Traverse’s LT trim builds upon the features of the LS trim and offers several additional quality-of-life enhancements and technology features, including foglights, roof rails, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, second-row captain’s chairs, wireless charging, and satellite radio.


Upgrading to the LT trim’s Leather package adds a wide range of premium technology and comfort-enhancing features. The Leather package’s technology features include an 8-inch touch screen, a color driver information center, remote start, a universal garage door opener, and a power liftgate. The Leather package’s comfort-enhancing features include leather seats, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and power lumbar control for both front seats.

3. RS

Up next is the 2022 Traverse’s RS trim, which adds a sporty appearance package that includes dark-finish aluminum wheels and blacked-out styling cues and accents. The RS trim also comes standard with many features that are optional on lower trims, including driver assistance features such as a surround-vision camera, adaptive cruise control, enhanced automatic emergency braking, and rear pedestrian alert.

4. Premier

Near the top of the 2022 Traverse’s trim options, you’ll find the Premier trim, which adds an appearance package and a range of luxurious features. The appearance package includes chrome door handles, a chrome roof rack, and rectangular chrome exhaust tips, giving the Traverse a premium feel. Additional features include heated rear outboard seats, ventilated front seats, a hands-free power liftgate, a Safety Alert Seat which vibrates if a crash risk is detected, and more.

5. High Country

The 2022 Traverse’s final and most expensive trim is the High Country trim, which adds nice touches such as bright front sill plates, unique floor mats, and polished aluminum wheels.
