The Chevy Suburban has two or three engine options to choose from, depending on your trim selection. The standard motor is a 5.3-liter V8 engine that produces 355 horsepower and is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. On the LT, RST, Premier, High Country, and Z71 models, drivers can select the 3.0-liter turbocharged diesel engine for an output of 305 horsepower and 495 lb-ft of torque. 

The RST and Z71 models also have an available 6.2-liter V8 engine that delivers 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque for sporty performance. All Suburban models have a 2WD drivetrain with an option to upgrade to a 4WD drivetrain, except for the Z71 trim, which is only available as a 4WD. 

Exterior

The Suburban has exterior features designed to simplify driving, such as rain-detecting automatic windshield wipers and LED headlights that provide crisper road illumination.
